Elizabeth offers four workshop series: Abundant Living; Gratitude: Cultivate the Habit; The Power of Words; and Listening Well.  Enrollment in each workshop is limited to a maximum of six participants. Meetings are held weekly, either by teleconference or in person at Elizabeth’s studio in McLean, Virginia.  The workshops are free of charge, and participants will have the opportunity to make a donation to one of several charitable organizations.

ABUNDANT LIVING

We live in a culture that encourages overload and frenetic activity.  Many of us are running on empty.  We’re in desperate need of inward rest and refreshment.  Often we’re frustrated because the things which matter most get only the ragged leftovers of our time and energy.  We live under the tyranny of the urgent, where the desires of our hearts have little room to breathe.  This workshop will encourage you to make creative changes which will allow you to live a freer, more fulfilling life.

As a result of participating in the workshop, you will learn to better:

•   Honor your priorities

•   Eliminate energy drains

•   Reduce stress and overload

•   Enhance your spiritual and physical well-being

•   Practice gratitude

•   Reduce anxiety

Elizabeth offers two versions of this workshop -- an 8-week series and a more in-depth 12-week series.

GRATITUDE: CULTIVATE THE HABIT

Would you like to experience more joy and contentment in your day-to-day life and, at the same time, be an encouragement to others?  If so, accept the challenge: be intentional about cultivating the habit of gratitude.  This 4-week workshop explores the benefits of living gratefully and provides you with simple, practical ways of growing in gratitude.

THE POWER OF WORDS

Are you aware that the words you speak every day hold the power of life and death – the power to heal or wound, to create or destroy?  In this 4-week workshop, Elizabeth provides practical tips on speaking in ways that will encourage, heal and build stronger relationships with the people in your personal and professional life.

LISTENING WELL

Listening is fast becoming a lost art.  We long to be heard, but too often no one is listening.  In our hurried, me-first culture, many conversations are mere competitions – each person vying for air time.  We’ve forgotten that empathic listening is a gift that offers others healing, encouragement and hope.  This 3-week workshop offers practical tools that will help you to become a more gracious listener.
