small standing ovations

Do you remember Paul Potts?  When he walked onto the stage of Britain’s Got Talent a few years ago, he wasn’t much to look at.  He was one of those people you’d pass in a crowd without a glance.  If you noticed him at all, you’d size him up as ordinary and probably write him off.  But Paul Potts wasn’t ordinary.  When people saw that, they stood up and clapped and cheered.  Even Simon said he was a breath of fresh air.

What if every person you run into today is a Paul Potts?  What if you looked right through the ordinariness and applauded the shining person he was meant to be?  Maybe your one small standing ovation would help him become a breath of fresh air.
