me-too

The more you understand Christmas, the harder it gets to look down your nose at the person beside you. Little by little, you find yourself saying me-too instead.

“[A]n angel . . . said to [Joseph], ‘She will bear a Son . . . who will rescue and make whole. . . .” Matthew 1:20-21

“’[B]efore you told me [your name], I knew it.’ The [convict] opened his eyes in surprise. ‘Really?  You knew my name?’ 'Yes,’ answered the bishop, ‘your name is my brother.’” Les Miserables, Victor Hugo
