keeping lists

        Lists help you remember things. That’s good, unless they’re helping you remember bad things, like all the ways somebody has let you down. Those lists are dangerous. If you keep carrying them around, they’ll make you sick. That’s why you have to be sure to empty your pockets every night before you go to sleep.
