Bruce is our black lab. He SEES a lot more clearly than I do. When he meets someone, he wags. He doesn’t SEE how she is dressed or where she lives or what kind of work she does. He doesn’t SEE someone who is a few rungs lower or higher on the ladder than he is. He doesn’t SEE someone to envy or label or use or avoid. Bruce simply SEES someone to love.
