space to be heard

      When somebody gives you space to be heard, it heals. Even the best advice pales by comparison.

music to His ears

      If God wants you to be wholly happy, your Thy-will-be-done must be music to His ears.

a healing relief

      Trying to hide all your faults and flaws makes you sick and tired inside. That’s why letting somebody else in is such a healing relief.

so surely coming

      When things feel like dark and painful night, it helps to remember that Immanuel means God-is-with-us in the dark and painful night (and in the dawn which is so surely coming).
